Your Rhipsalis will ship in a 6“ black plastic nursery pot and will be similar to one of the small Rhipsalis pictured in a black 6” pot. Rhipsalis can be quite fragile (it breaks at the joints easily— this is probably an evolved mechanism for propagation) and can be hard to ship without damage occurring. We will do the best job we can with packaging and shipping.
Rhipsalis makes a great indoor specimen, being that few varieties have spines and because of its need for indirect light. I have seen some amazing examples of Rhipsalis that have grown into beautiful full hanging baskets.
