Queen Victoria’s natural habitat is in Old Mexico in the Chihuahuan Desert. Beautiful agaves, they are. They are often prized and touted by their owners.
Queen Vics stay relatively small— perhaps 1-2ft x 2ft. Having a distinct globular shape, they will definitely stand out among the crowd.
They like full to part sun. Well draining, even rocky soil. I don’t let mine get below 40F; however, I know of people whom their’s have stayed out over night when temps were in the mid-20’s and the plants were fine the next day. Water it like you would your typical arid cactus or agave.
The Queen Victorias we currently offer are small— 2-3” tall. They are starter plants. They will ship bare root.
