I’ve been told that down in Old Mexico this plant is actually used to form a living fence.
This fellas can get 20ft tall and make a pinkish/red flower in the spring. They are supposedly hardy to 25F but i bring mine in before the temps get in the 30’s.
Treat this as you would any arid-cactus. Use a good cactus soil mix. Water when the soil becomes completely dry.
You will receive 1 baby cactus that is very similar to that in the picture. They are roughly 2-3” tall, at this time. They will likely be unrooted when you receive them. Use a powdered rooting hormone. This plant will ship without a soil or a pot.
